The cold fresh water from the poles is going to block the warm water (Gulf) stream (heat transport). There is a theory that salt in water can conduct electricity. So it could start some electric counter balance. How much salt is needed to warm the oceans?

I am no expert in this field, just curious to know. So if anyone could enlighten me. Cheers ! JT
