I was supposed to give a lecture in my University, and I thought this would be an interesting subject. In the end, I couldn't do it because of some department rules... It's still in my head, though, so I'd like to know if you guys could give some examples of chemistry stuff in sci-fi, be that real or not (yet). Like the breathing liquid Fluorinert in The Abyss (1989), or the tri-corder and even the bat-cave lab for analyses of everything with no sample-prep. Cheers!
