Scholarly research is an important tool to improve the lives of people on this planet, and to make their presence more convenient and enjoyable. The west has succeeded in linking the scholarly research to the challenges of the complex business world, which culminated in world dominance of the business and economic globe. The developing world has a different set of priorities to follow; unfortunately, it seems that scholarly research is not one of them. Therefore, how much of the scholarly research is being taken seriously by the developing world?
