Use of refrigerant and oil mixture for boiling heat transfer characterization is common. Say, I keep the liquid refrigerant and oil with known oil concentration in a safe bottle of fix volume. Now I takeout the liquid through a connecting pipe dipped in the liquid mixture. I need to know the change in concentration of oil in the liquid mixture extracted. Is there any experimental data available for refrigerant like R134a for similar situation?

It seems there can be a sharp rise in oil concentration near the end of the extraction process. Large change in oil concentration can be avoided if residual fraction to be left is available. Typical estimate for CO2/oil mixture is rise in oil concentration by as much as 150% towards the end; for R134a/oil mixtures it is near 20%.
