Dear All,

Currently my friends and I are in the middle of a University metallurgy assignment regarding the manufacturing of a fibrous composite component, where one of the tasks given is to calculate the theoretical values of both the Young's Modulus (E) and the ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of this fibrous composite, so that finally we can compare them to those found experimentally by means of tensile testing. Till now, I only managed to find the equations for both when the loading is either longitudinal or tranverse, and also for a uni-directional fibrous composite only. Do equations for both E and UTS exist for multi-directional composites?
