If we mean by" God's particle" that it's unique or special I guess it's true, to this date the scalar sector of the standard model is a mono-field meaning it contains only the neutral spin zero field called Higgs field. I guess the discovery of the Higgs boson left physicists with more questions than it solved one of the many is what the Higgs measured mass is so low compared to the Planck mass? either there is some miraculous fine tuning or some new physics beyond the standard model has to be there to explain this low mass. One condidate is(was) supersymmetry : that we can extend the Lie algebra of the Poincare group with generators that transforms boson and fermion fields to each other, but things aren't looking good sofar because the experimental constraints are reducing the region where sypersymmetry could be a plausible candidate...anyhow we need more particles either new higgs (charged higgs, pseudo scalar higgs) or within the higgs itself(a composite higgs) or outside of it new generations(a fourth generation) or new sectors(vector like fermions) or something else...
Higgs bosons is a joke, it is a theory that pronounced to make Mr. Higgs happy that is all. The god particle that the DNA of the Universe (Hydrogen) is carrying is much complicated. Article How the Language of the Universe Works
