In relation to a survey I am conducting on learning management systems / virtual learning environments, lecturers and student assessment it would help to have some stats on the approx. total nos. of nurse lecturers for selected nations as available and a global total. I've tried ICN and WHO but struggling to find a key source - still searching...

Unless u try to contact every labour office of all the country to have the statistics. Or u contact the statistical departments of every country via phone or mail. But in the future these statistics will be quite easy to get due to the open data policy that are being encouraged by some computing bodies to help people get access to public data easily and timely. You can also check publications of certain countries government's websites.All the best.
