I recently uploaded a technical report to Researchgate, and currently there is nothing under the 'references' tag. From my experience of uploading another technical report a few years ago, I understand that Researchgate will eventually pick up the references in my technical report, but I curious about the time that Researchgate will take to recognize these references. (BTW, the two technical reports mentioned here were both published as research papers directly relevant research programmes -- and no reference list has ever been generated on the website on the research programmes.
Does anyone have the experience and will kindly share the information? Thanks a lot!
I will also return to this page to report my own experience after the references are generated for my newly uploaded technical report.
It will only pick them up if the references are in ResearchGate themselves.
It does often take some time, though. I've seen it find references within a few seconds of uploading or take several weeks to find them.
