There are more and more approaches to analyze the impact of tap changer for voltage regulation or phase shift transformers on the control of the power flow. Especially for the investigation of the power flow control of the duration time of a tap change. This is a fact, which has to be considered. Thus, I would like to know, how long does a tap change take and are there are any publications for references?

thank your for your answer. But I didn't mean the educational TAP change program. Maybe I expressed myself wrong. I am searching the duration time, which the tap changer device needs to switch on tap to a new state.
Usually tap change time depends on its operation and design.Usually a CG make tap takes 66 complete rotation to change 1 tap position.It it is automatically operated,it may take only a few seconds time(less than 7-8 seconds),but if it is manually operated then it may take some time till the completion of the no. of rotation of the axis.
