I agree - no education can become static and it is such a temptation when we are busy not to revisit what we have done before - but then it grows stagnant and dies. Vision, excitement and courage to change MUST be the hallmarks of education, and sadly are often not.
I agree with Alana, but in the end it is our teaching that should be constantly changing based on the students in our classes and the "effectiveness" of our teaching of particvular topics.
Simply, education is a humanitarian activity and humans' lifestyle is rapidly being changed. If we agree to consider curricula as the tools to confirm the educational objectives, I think we ought not use traditional tools for such modern goals, which have to be confirmed by modern generations. Pedagogically, educational curriculums must be assessed, amended, and even changed every five years.
