I have read that you can use cyprids of Amphibalanus amphitritae  after kept in 6oC for max 11 days. I want to use them in Settlement inhibition assays. Is it safe touse them after 11 days?

Unfortunately I have difficulties in collecting the amount of animals I need for the experiments, so I have to collect them little by little, put them in the fridge and once I have the number I need I start the experiment. Is it ok to do it like this?
