Knowing this, how does one convert this value to calculate the atmospheric concentration of nitrogen dioxide?

At first, you need to follow the right procedure to collect air sample. After that, you need to record the total volume of your air sample. Based on its concentration and the extraction solution volume, you can calculate the total amount of 'N' in weight in your extraction solution. As a result, you will get the answer of its concentration in weight per air volume. Further, when you do anion chromatography, you will observe both NO2- and NO3- peaks. If the latter one will be much higher than the former one, you need to consider them carefully.
