PCL normally depends on Eigen, Boost, VTK and FLANN . You can get these libraries here http://unanancyowen.com/en/pcl181/ .

PCL relies on CMake as a build tool and requires that you place a file called CMakeLists.txt on your project path somewhere.

For example:

cmake minimum required(VERSION 2.8 FATAL ERROR) project(MY PCL PROJECT) find package(PCL 1.8 REQUIRED COMPONENTS common io)

include directories($PCL INCLUDE DIRS) link directories($PCL LIBRARY DIRS) add definitions($PCL DEFINITIONS) add executable(pcd write test pcd write.cpp) target link libraries(pcd write test $PCL COMMON LIBRARIES $PCL IO LIBRARIES)

Then generate the Makefile and build the project.

$ cd /PATH/TO/MY/PCL/PROJECT

$ mkdir build $ cd build $ cmake ..

Mohamed AbdElAziz Khamis, I have no problem about download the codes. my problem is that they don't install properly and show some errors.

Did you add the location of the PCL binaries to your path?

What are the errors you're getting?

Collette Curry I did that at matlab and python but I got some errors. for instance at python I installed every libraries which them needed but still it doesn't work, could you please tell me how can I implement them on my point cloud?
