Big Data current technologies is not limited to only web based application its equally capable to handle data generated by the Internet Connected Things (Eg. Washing Machine, Microwave, AC, Smart Manufacturing Machines etc.).Internet of Things will connect the gadgets with Internet , in every gadgets/Things sensors will be connected which will produce the continuous data which will be passed through the IoT gateway to the Enterprise/Cloud. For data collection we will be requiring tools like Flume or Kafka , Once this data reached to cloud or Enterprise cluster we can perform Big Data Analytics in real time with the help of Apache Spark Streaming and core Apache spark with Flume or Kafka. We have to generate the insights when the voluminous data is coming with velocity and with different variety. Eg: When telecom line fault occurs earlier telephone user has to complain to the provider and the provider will search the fault manually. Now with the help of Big Data Real time analytics, system will detect where fault occurred and it will automatically notify to the concern unit and it will also visualize the fault on the enterprise dashboard. I have tried to explain your question in brief , hope you will get your answer else i will be happy to have more questions. Many regards
Big Data and Internet of Things are buzzwords that point to interesting contemporary phenomena. However, they are also rather ambiguous as terms; to me they hardly explain anything or identify a clearly demarcated thing. I guess it is safe to assume that IoT devices will generate plenty of data and hence the phenomena are to some degree related. Beyond this, the question is so general that I find it difficult to answer it without being utterly speculative.
