The use of information and technology system on organisations provide a better performance on market. Clusters are industrial agglomerations where there are competition, cooperation and knowledge transfer. Thus, the use of technologies will allows maximize the utility between these factors. Its importance began when individuals in organisations connect knowledge with competition.

My Friend is very much in the IT cluster research based in Brazil and he can be great source. Eduardo H Rigoni. THere are many examples for same in India as INdia has done great job in promoting IT clusters. Banglore, Pune, Hyderabad, NCR etc.

It is understandable that organisations are corporate entities, but it is individuals within these organisations that are responsible for the organisational activities. The use of technologies to help better manage information and information sharing is nearly as old as time. Ancient insriptions on tomb walls are a classical case - the tomb walls were the technique (technology) used in preserving information while the inscriptions bore the information. Let's not forget the tools used in making the inscriptions - part of the technology. Give the same camera to two different photographers and their photographic productions are a mark of how well INFORMED each of the photographers is. Financial constraints aside, the finest state-of-the-art technologies already exist, awaiting acquisition by BOLD and DARING organisations. But being bold and daring is directly proportional to being WELL INFORMED and KNOWLEDGABLE, and these are the real issues. Many are not well informed, hence of little knowledge. Within an organisation, low performance and inability to compete are the direct results. Invariably, no knowledge to transfer. It is important to note that information contained within the pages of any book, though very necessary, are only guidelines and typical scenarios. The real knowledge is found while applying the information to the real-life situation at hand and every situation has its own peculiarity.
