You can not know the name of microbe unless doing primary testing which depending on ( morphological feature and biochemical testing)

And for differentiate between microorganisms (bacteria and fungi) this depending on the size and shape of colonies on agar plate as primery diagnosis ... and to differentiate bacteria as gram positive bacteria and gram negative bacteria it s can doing by : 1. Staining with gram stain ....2. Growing on selective and differentiate medium like MacConkey agar
