Dear scholars,
I am modeling a composite pipe with Abaqus. Also I wrote it's mechanical behavior with subroutine umat. I need some of my input data in my model to be random. my model will be run and the result of my job has been calculated with a mathematical equation and should satisfy a Condition. if the condition satisfied, ok, the algorithm will be end, otherwise the code must start the first step and do the same procedure till the condition will be satisfied.
now, Do I need to write a script code for Abaqus?
have you a similar code for this problem?

Dear Masoume
When you create the desired model in ABAQUS, it releases a JNL file in which you can find the variables which is creating your model. so you don't need to write all scripts, just manipulated the JNL file to create other models.

I need random data for input for my model. the number of this input data and calculation of them is many !!(preprocessing and postprocessing). if I manipulated the JNL file to create each of them. I waste time!
Do you have other idea for my problem ?

Undoubtedly, you can manipulate them automatically by a programming language like MATLAB. I do this in optimization and create lots of files which are created randomly. If using MATLAB does not make any problem in your project, i can send you a program (written in MATLAB) which can automatically manipulate a JNL file.

Sure. find the code in the attachment. Undoubtedly this is a simple form of manipulating a JNL file in MATLAB and you have to use the functions and the instruction in the code to adapt it for you JNL file. I hope it helps you. If there are any questions about the code please do not hesitate to ask.
