Adding to the colleague Aparna the m-file implementation is the most forward implementable of the mathematical functions. So, you can implement or find a n m-file matlab source code for the physical layer of the WLAN standards.
The physical layer comprise channel coding and modulation. Such functions are common among many standard wireless communication systems.
The mathematical descriptions of the physical layer functions are described fully in the ITU standards and you need only to code them in m-file.
