If i deposit a layer of thiophenol on a gold surface, how i can calculate average coverage area if i get a circle deposit layer and i measured its radius
I'm not sure I understand the question correctly. If the deposited layer is a perfect circle within a larger gold area, then the area is simply pi multiplied by the square of the radius, as usual for calculating the area of a circle.
What is your goal - to cover the entire gold surface as efficiently as possible? To make dots of thiophenol of a particular size?
Thank you for your answer,i need to calculate the coverage surface area of thiophenol in molecules/cm2. I have the the diameter of thiophenol deposit monolayer and i have thiophenol concentration
