Hi to all of you,
I think those interested in power electronic have recognized Google's littlebox challenge?
1 Million US$ to improve inverter technology and reduce the volume of power electronics.
Get a 2kW solar inverter into less than 40in³ which is about 0.6 Liters.
My question now:
We built an inverter to achieve 20kW/Liter and now Google is asking for about 4kW/liter.
Would you consider this a challenge?
Thinking about it, I don't see the big hurdle to get this working but then again, maybe I'm just too optimistic.
I would appreciate your opinion.
