A theory of dementia caused by neurodegeneration was proposed. It was based on the engagement of proton - antiproton entangled pairs. One can find the details of the same in the book, The Brain: A Systems Neuroscience Perspective. Chapter 5 of this book. It should be noted that there are multiple causative agents of this type of loss of memory in an individual. I wonder how these particles can be instrumental in finding the cause which has the largest share in the effect, loss of memory.
