I am interested in knowing how the different kind of wastewater (domestic, industrial or agro-industrial) can affect the performance of an anaerobic expanded granular sludge bed bioreactor and what are the main parameters that must be known about this kind of wastewater to know if they are adequate to be treated with this type of biorectors.
I think it backs to the volume of pollutants in every one.

Actually, anaerobic treatment gives high values for removal of organic component. It can be used for domestic wastewater (specially with high organic loading rate). In addition, it can be used in some industries like dairy industry with high OLR. In cases of industries containing toxic materials or trace elements, it is required to remove the toxic material in pre-treatment process because anaerobic bacteria is very sensitive to the toxic components. One of the most factors affecting the efficiency of the system is temperature, the suitable degree for the treatment is about 15-40°C.
