In Developing Countries like Nigeria, the people think that the school fees should be as low as possible, as it is the duty of Government to make the University Education as affordable as possible. This makes the people to resist any increase in fees with their last pinch of blood. Does the fees payable in a University affect the ranking of the University?
The fee paid by the students is the major source of the revenue generation by a University. The capital asset creation and other academic related activities depend a lot on the finances generated by the University. More the revenue more will be expenditure on infrastructural and non infrastructural components of the University towards an academic achievement. The university ranking will greatly enhance if the creation of the physical and non physical resources is ensured that promotes academic achievement.
It does indirectly. University ranking systems has nothing to do with the school fees but the fees paid by students can in a large way enhance the university capability in dealing with factors that can help their ranking status.
