Mr RK Naesh, I am sorry but you are mistaken about the role of predators. Predation is the natural component of our ecosystems. Predators are the part & parcel of the systems. Whatever the biodiversity is there it is sustained along with their roles. They do not reduce biodiversity. For a brief review of this just watch this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysa5OBhXz-Q
The only case in which predators decrease biodiversity is if they are introduced predators, e.g., on an island, where insular populations have no evolved defense against them. In an ecosystem where predators and prey have co-evolved there should be no effect.
