Increased cooling  rate of the melt would provide reduced micro segregation. As process variables  high speed of mold rotation, low superheat of the melt and high thermal conductivity of the mold materials would help in minimizing the micro-segregation.

Lowering the super heat of the liquid can decrease the segregation.

1) If possible try to cool the rotating mold with air jets, on the outer periphery; this will enhance the heat transfer kinetics.

2) Increase the spinning speed of the mold.

3) Please see that there is ample time gap between experiments, to ensure the initial cold temperature of the mold for all the experiments.

4) coating the inner periphery of the mold with graphite-spray can also yield better results; since this would prevent the melt from wetting with the mold; and allows forced convection in the melt by delaying the nucleation events from the mold wall. Such forced convection would lead to solute distribution to some extent.

5) Add some grain refiner to the melt, this would also decrease the segregation significantly.

1.the phase transformations in the solid state with the hexagonal 'neeta'n'' phase,

regular face centered B’(Beeta) phase, hexagonal { (eeta) (CuZn4) phase

as well the hexagonal W phase (intermetallic CuZn3 phase). This

transformation of the main reason for the dimensions changes.

2. Avoiding of segregation ( dendritic), Significant phase dispersion will be resolved by cooling rates dT/dt> 10 pow 6 C/s which appears in succession.

i.e (i)Cooling rate has a big influence on the dendritic segregation:

low cooling causes microstructure homogenization and decay

of dendrites,

(ii)by very high cooling rates a fine-grained

microstructure will be achieved by very high differences of the

chemical composition
