How does one make a electromathanogenesis reactor for pure culture ?

i have been tasked with making an electromethanogenesis reactor but i don't have experience with cultivation i have done a lot of research but lab journals with step to step directions are hard to find can anyone help with this issue. the lab i am going to work with is a typical chemical laboratory so they lack certain equipment such as an auto clave but i have been provided a budget for equipment but i want to make sure i make cultivate the material well.
