I think Mohammad Hossain and Sana Ullah answered very well to your question. Density can affect feeding behaviour o fish both for density itself and products of feed stuff decomposition.
In carp aquaculture higher stocking density is not suitable in general for success of your project. It is the one factor which has significant effect on fish growth. The pond ecosystem will be disturbed and fish will become under stress. The biology of under stress fish is never normal. The answer by others experts seems fine.
You have asked about stocking density and feeding behavior ? If stocking density is below prescribed system density then competition will be less and uniform growth may be observed. But with high stocking density some will grow more faster than others because of dominant effect for feed obtaining. It also depend on species, some shows much vigor in feed competition than other species. However, it is all relative and species specific.
In general, high stocking densities can induce stress on fish and deteriorate the water quality, that will inhibit fish feeding. However, it depend on species and the culture system that you you are using. The performance of an fish species is distinct in a pond comparing to an RAS for example.
I agree with above. There are many published articles about the feeding behaviour, feeding regime and stocking density of culture fish. S0, you may go to: https://www.researchgate.net/post/How_does_density_affect_the_feeding_behavior_of_fish
