Does aquaculture consume more wild fish than is produced?

Globally, aquaculture uses about half a metric ton of wild fish to produce one metric ton of farmed seafood. Is it a fact?

Produced fishes are mostly carnivorous and they consume forage fishes to obtain their growth. Mostly conversion ratio happens to be 2::1.
