How does "centrifugability" of nanoparticles depend upon size and type of metal?

Have you any experience of centrifugation at different RPM that gives different sedimentation size? (E.g. 2000 RPM sediments 300-500 nm Ag, 10000 RPM gives 50-70 nm, etc)

Thank you, Robin! Must calculated velocity be compared with diffusion velocity of particles? I was mostly interested in experimental data about sedimentation. Also it is interesting if coating (adsorbed organic molecules, e.g.) influences sedimentation speed. I suppose that NPs with "shaggy" coating will sink slower.
