I am interested in learning how to solve the Diffusion equation for integer spatial dimension that is greater than 3.

In particular, I would like to know how to solve for the concentration of a point particle (as a function of space and time) that is interior to a d-dimensional sphere, with a perfectly absorbing boundary condition at the sphere's radius. The spatial dimension of the sphere is integer and greater than 3.

Any information about how to solve this problem, including any references to books or articles about it, would be greatly appreciated.
