How do you prepare synthetic waste water?

I am interested in preparing synthetic waste water which will contain COD of range 500ppm and TN of range 300ppm roughly. What should i add to pure water to make my desired synthetic waste water?

add NaNO3 and NH4Cl or ammonium acetate as nitrogen source; add different sources of carbon such as peptone, yeast extract, starch, oil.
