I think students are motivated to learn by encouraging them financially and morally, providing them with possible support, treating them as friends, listening to their problems and trying to find solutions.

Self-motivation is crucial to learning as well as teaching. The teacher is responsible for creating and sustaining a "learner-friendly environment" so that students can make the connection between school and other life circumstances. For example, "flipping the classroom" through transference of course concepts into multiple locations, such as relatives' and friends' homes along with at ones' own residence, reinforces and offers valuable feasibility that may save learners serious chagrin. One of the biggest challenges for students is to take what's offered at a place not too high on the recreation list and accept it as an option to help improve their situation for the long-term.
