Hi everyone,

iIknow to measure how many drug(s) were loaded and entrapped in lipid nanoparticles you can use EE( %) = (Drug entrapment in the NLCs/Drug added) × 100%

DL (%) = (Drug entrapment in the NLCs/Total amount of lipids added) × 100%

I also know that we use the filtration/centrifugation method to separate the nanoparticles and supernatant. Then the filtrate receiver will be analyzed by a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system equipped with a UV spectroscope.

However, i am not sure from there how do i use the data of the HPLC analysis to be applied with these formulas. The research papers aren't really detailed on how do you use the equations.
