I'm unsure how to interpret the results of my regression as the independent and the dependant variables are percentages - is it a percentage increase or percentage point increase??
dependant variable (AI adoption) = AI job adverts / Total job adverts
independent variable 1 (broadband) = business with fibre broadband/ total business'another
If the coefficient of broadband is 0.1, does this mean that the dependant variable increases by 0.1 percentage points or 0.1%?
Similarly another of my independent variables is a ratio:
uni-strength - university income from SME's/ number of SME's
if the coefficient of uni-strength is 0.1, does this mean a 1 unit increase in uni-stength increases the dependant variable by 0.1 percentage points?

The regression coefficient tells you by how many UNITS the DV changes, for every 1-unit increase in the predictor. So it is NOT expressing a "percentage increase" in the sense that, say, the level of your DV changing from 1 to 1.5 would be a "50% increase." If your DV is truly percentage points, then a coefficient of 0.1 would indeed suggest an increase of 0.1 percentage points in the DV for every 1-unit increase in the predictor.
However, to take you at your word, you indicate that the dependent variable was defined as AI Job Adverts / Total Job Adverts, which would mean your DV is formulated as a proportion, not as a percent. If that is truly the case, then a coefficient of 0.1 would indicate a 10-percentage-point increase in the DV for every 1-unit increase in the predictor.

The sign of a regression coefficient tells you whether there is a positive or negative correlation between each independent variable the dependent variable. A positive coefficient indicates that as the value of the independent variable increases, the mean of the dependent variable also tends to increase.
The log transformation is, arguably, the most popular among the different types of transformations used to transform skewed data to approximately conform to normality. If the original data follows a log-normal distribution or approximately so, then the log-transformed data follows a normal or near normal distribution.
