Hi,
I have a 4836 Parr temperature controller which uses the 'older' type of PID controller, not the more modern Parr one (see picture). Its limit is set at 220 C but it should be possible to increase to 350 C. I have tried within the PID controller settings but cannot find it and likewise it is not stated in the manual for this type. If anyone can help it would be most appreciated.

Hi Smith,
You should test (open loop) temperature without controller for period of time (you may register your temperature data every one minute) then sketch graph with FOPDT, you can estimate the PID parameters.
