The following steps are followed:

1) HIS is designed in HFSS.

2) Floquet port is used for excitation purpose.

3) After successful validation check, analysis is done.

4) Then we come to " Results".and select reflection coefficient S11. S11 is generally a complex number. It can be viewed in HFSS in three ways.First in complex form, second just its magnitude which is real and can be viewed by selecting magnitude option and third option is to view just the phase of the reflection coefficeint usually this is of interest in HIS, for this we select the phase option.

Don't know but CST Microwave Studio can do it!

The phase parameter is found by plotting cang_deg (in degrees) vs frequency for the desired port.
