I believe they will react just as they would to any new gadget; they may be excited and thrilled and then eventually, they may loose interest. The same may happen with human relationships as well. The difference, however, is that Teachers can sense that disconnect and try new ways to regain their students interest in learning.

Technology in education has its many advantages but technology does not teach. A strong focus on pedagogy is still needed; technology should be used to enhance pedagogy.
