There is an Data Analysis Add-on to Excel that has statistical commands- fairly simple but nice for starting out. (attached an available pdf).

However I would recommend moving to using a dedicated statistical Software package such as R if you are planning to stay in research. R can be reproducible. Excel can easily be incorrect if cells change and is not as 'auditable' or reproducible as R.
