How do we calculate length of a converging diverging nozzle ?

I am working on the design of a converging diverging nozzle design for fsae vehicle in which I have calculated area ratio according to Mach no . I performed CFD on ANSYS but the results were not satisfactory. Multiple iterations were performed on different Lengths and converging and diverging angles but expected outputs were not attained.
