I am new to systematic reviews and was reading a review where the authors have mentioned a 'low' risk of reporting bias for all the included papers. There isn't much description except the line 'Outcomes were well reported in most studies'. Is this the right approach? How do we know whether or not there is any reporting bias if we can't retrieve the trial protocol?
If there is no protocol the risk of reporting bias is at least 'unclear' but one might argue that the de-facto risk of bias is high
