Especially when second research question is dependent on the significant result of the first research research question ?
When you don't have a significant result it's a result : you have to try to explain it

Difficult to answer without knowing more about the research and the particular research questions. I assume that the analysis has not shown any significance and you are stuck on the conclusions. I agree with the respondent that you have to try to explain it. To do this ask yourself the question "Am I surprised there is no significance?". If you are ..Why? Did other studies show significance? Did the first question suggest there is going to be significance. If you are unavle to explain it you can only state that the results did not support your hypothesis and further investigation is required. You then need to state what further investigations you recommend.
