I am currently working on OER in 0.5M H2SO4. I tried to measure chronopotentiometry at 0.001965 A (i.e. 10 mA/cm2), but the Gamry showed I, V, CA overloads all at once. Interestingly, the measured current and voltage values were exactly as expected and remained stable. I was concerned about the potential strain on the equipment due to continuous overloading. So, I paused the CP and proceeded to measure the Ru value and LSV (0 - 1.6 V vs. RHE) without changing anything. No overload was shown, and tests were carried out perfectly. Could anyone be kind enough to explain the situation or suggest what I can do to troubleshoot the overloads?

And yes, there is a little bubble on the WE, but it covers 10% of the WE at the most. CP used to work fine for months and all of a sudden it's not working :(
