Preparation of Ovalbumin ( for sensitization) in PBS solution for i.p. administration in mice needs addition of Al(OH)3. But Al(OH)3 is not soluble in PBS. Is there any other alternatives to solubilize Al(OH)3 in PBS?
You don't need to solubilize Al(OH)3 for using in immunization protocols: just make a suspension of it in a solution of your immunogen, pass several times through a syringe with a large enough needle to avoid clumping, and your immunogen will be ready, with protein adsorbed on your Al(OH)3 particules !
