find a suitable solvent. I think formic acid is the best candidate to solubilize nylon6 (though ignoring the other phase nature of the composite). Regards
If you want to design a recycling line it's better to focus on grinding and separation by difference of density method such as floating or air blowing method.
If you do lab scale project you can use solvent like m-cresol, formic acid and …. To solve PA
It will be my pleasure but please send detail of your work and information such as the type of fiber, the quantity of recycling material, if they use any filler in matrix please clarify that
From my personal experience with natural fiber reinforced polyamide-6 composites, I can confirm the suggestion of the collegue of using formic acid. The use of a Shoxlet extractor or even the direct solubilization of the matrix is an effective way to separate the PA-6 from the fiber. Nevertheless, bear in min that it will highly depend on the characteristic of your reinforcement. I hope this may help you somehow.
For dissolution of PA6 formic acid will be the solvent of choice as suggested by Abdelkader. In case this does not fit with your requirements, you can also try boiling glacial acetic acid, DMF and DMSO, resp.
Dear Thiru, you can find that I used formic acid in this work: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/229146225_One-step_functionalization_and_reactive_blending_of_polyolefinpolyamide_mixtures_%28EPMPA6%29
However I think also trifluoroacetic acid can work. Regards

thank you to all. i am trying as per all your suggestions. i will ask all your suggestion once again when that idea is not working... thanks once again
