Go to templet based processing , select far field analysis, select Gain and for polarization select circular, and ludweg3 , and also select left, U will get LHCP, if u select right, U will get RHCP
I am getting two different gain plots by using method mentioned by Mr. Pravin and other one which gives maximum gain plot by selecting several field monitors. What is the reason for this? Can anyone explain?
How to plot LHCP and RHCP on the same polar plot. I am able to get separate LHCP and RCHP as indicated by Dr. Pravin. But how to get both on the same polar plot??
I am currently working on reconfigurable antennas in which I have to concentrate on the polarization. I have a better understanding on the theoretical concepts. But I am not sure of how to identify the polarization when working with CST. As we see the gain, directivity, S11 etc. is there an option to find out what polarization is the antenna supporting . Or, how do I identify the polarisation of the antenna in CST? Can some one help me out?
at the farfield plot click on resulttemplates. select in he first row "farfieldand antenna properties" and in the second row "farfield result". click on all settings: on evaluation range select 3d, but the important area on this window is "farfield settings": on axial/polarization " select "spherical" and "circlar".
