It is essential I run v6.14 as I need the CFD module.
Looking at other results online, the only factor I could narrow it down to is my laptop having an AMD processor (Ryzen 9 5980HX). My theory is that Ryzen processors are not supported because Abaqus 6.14 predates the existence of Ryzen processors.
I confirmed this theory by running the same, simple simulation of internal pressure on a tube on a laptop with a Core i7-10700H as well as a potato laptop having a Core i5-6200U.
I tried some solutions, but none of them worked. Is there another way? Has anyone ever been able to resolve this?
Hi，Mithi. I am Ting. My processor is AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 32, and I have encountered the same issue. Perhaps you could try making the mesh sparser, and it might not throw an error.
op, it doesn't function. I saw another post where author recommended upgrade the version of ABAQUS to 2020. I will do that.
