iam doing project on vehical detection during night,fog,rain,&other environmental conditions so plese hep me to do this project ;

I guess you can try to use Gaussian Mixture Models. There are really great toolboxs in Matlab for basic car detection. In case of night, fog rain, etc, you can try to play with different treshholds.
