I have an interferogram and I want to remove the speckle noise in it. Though median filter is a classic technique, I don't have any other algorithms so if I use the median filter for this does it make any difference?
May you look at this link:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speckle_noise#Speckle_Noise_Reduction
All the best.
This is a nice paper:

I am sure that the paper will be helpful for you.
