It is unfortunate that your professor has raised this concern. Here are some options for you to consider:
- Use change tracking option during document creation process. As you write, enable change tracking in your preferred program (for example Word, Google Docs, or any other online or offline word processing tool). This will allow you to demonstrate the step-by-step creation of your content, proving that it was not automatically generated by any AI tool.
- Use an AI detection tool such as Turnitin's AI detector, which is specifically designed for student writing, and it provides detail similarity report on AI-generated content. (https://www.turnitin.com/)
- Get a Human Writer Certificate from any online tool such as Authory (https://authory.com/blog/human-writer-certificate). This certificate serves as evidence that your content is authored by you (Human generated content) rather than being generated by AI.

When writing theses, students should not assist themselves with intelligent chatbots equipped with generative artificial intelligence technology, which, being equipped with advanced language models and knowledge derived from selected online publication databases, can easily and quickly generate various types of texts on any topic according to a specific command. On the other hand, promoters of the thesis writing process are increasingly equipped with a computerized anti-plagiarism system, which, having built-in relevant analytical modules, can diagnose whether the thesis was written with the help of ready-made texts of paragraphs, subsections and/or chapters in accordance with a specific command. A promoter who suspects that the thesis was written with the help of an intelligent chatbot like ChatGPT, Copilot, etc. should not base his claim on mere suspicion, but should base his claim on evidence. Evidence in this regard can be provided by the results of an examination of an IT anti-plagiarism system, which, having built-in relevant analytical modules, can diagnose whether the thesis was written with the help of an intelligent chatbot or other type of automatic text-generating program equipped with an advanced language model trained on a large number of different types of source scientific and other publications.
