I have got the reviewer comments like: Avoid graph with shaded, transparent,or grid backgrounds. This is applicable for the origin results alone or even the FDTD simulation results which is having dark blue background with gridded simulation.Kindly help me solve this issue.
As far as I know, this is due to a problem with black and white printing, publication requirements or the use of your work by people with color blindness. I think that if your pictures do not cause these difficulties, then you can indicate this in the response to the reviewer.
You can address the reviewer comments politely by describing the importance of such graphs with shaded, transparent, or grid backgrounds.
If you want to go with reviewer comments and want to remove the background then there are many tools that exist to do that.
I will recommend you to go with ipe and create a graph using the tool to meet your expectations.
